WHIMSICAL Large Dominick & Haff Sterling CHAMBERSTICK Candlestick

Description

A rare whimsical sterling arts and crafts candle holder by Dominick & Haff of New York dated 1881, entirely hand hammered from the feet up with a heart shaped platform with ruffled edge and terminating in a comical two sided head with pony tail.
The candle is held in position with a flat bar which has a spring pushing against the candle from the rear in a ring extended from an arm and resting on the base. A large sterling arts and crafts example.

eight 23.25 troy ounces.  Very good condition.
