    Description

This listing is for a 1950's Collectible Book: THE RED DEVILS INDIANTOWN GAP MILITARY RESERVATION 5th INFANTRY DIVISION COMPANY D 2nd Inf. Reg.
I believe this time period was during the Korean Conflict. There is no date of publication, however based on the Commanding General's Service during this time period, it is noted that MAJOR GEMERAL LAURENCE B. KEISER took command of the 5th Infantry Division and Indiantown Gap Military Reservation in February of 1951.
Fort Indiantown Gap, also referred to as "The Gap" or "FIG", is a census-designated place and National Guard Training Center primarily located in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. A portion of the installation is located in eastern Dauphin County. It is located adjacent to Interstate 81, 23 miles northeast of Harrisburg, just north of the northern terminus of Pennsylvania Route 934 at I-81's Exit 85.
This book measures 9-1/8" x 12-1/8" wide. There are no missing or torn pages. There are two extra pages of information, as shown in my photos.
The cover has some stains on it, as you can see in my photos. It is from a smoke-free home.
Some of the photos have identifying names written on them. There are some handwritten signatures in the back.
There are lots of photos and illustrations. This is is a very interesting piece of military history.
Please view each of my 12 enlarged photos for the best description.
This will be packaged carefully and shipped quickly.
    Thank you for looking!
