VINTAGE REPRODUCTION PHOTOGRAPH of the U. S. BATTLE SHIP 'OREGON'. Mfg; U.S.A. Photo By; Examiner. Numbered; 32094. Size; 10 7/8" x 9". Cond; Very Good Used Condition, Ready For Framing. On July 15, 1896 the U. S. Battle ship was commission, Designated solely as an official battle ship for the U. S. Navy. On March 19, 1898, the Oregon was called to fight in the Spanish-American war, also in the Caribbean sea. In 1925 the Oregon was a floating museum in Portland's waterfront until WW2. She was gutted out and its hull was used as a ammunition storage in the battle of Guam.
