Vintage Moriyama Japan 11-1/2" Hand Painted Cake Plate

Description

My photos don't do justice to this impressive 11-1/2 inch diameter vintage cake plate.  In reality, it is a soft yellow color ground with hand painted green blossoms in the center and trailing all around the border.  The border flowers are bound on each side by a band of black.  The piece is in excellent vintage condition.  It has a shiny glaze and only a few mm. scratches.  There are no chips, cracks or hairlines to be seen. There are several small dimples evenly spaced across the piece which I believe are caused by the manufacturing process of the time.
This cheery plate would look wonderful holding snacks for tea time and could also be used as an accent piece to Asian or traditional decor.
