This great 1970’s vintage Golden Throat mouth tube is in excellent working condition and is an essential tool for all of your Peter Frampton covers, or to use to brings some interesting new sounds to your songs.
This thrift shop discovery has been fully tested and it is complete and in excellent working condition. It does have some cosmetic wear, but since it is probably close to 50 years old, that should not be a surprise.
This is the first version of the Electro Harmonix Golden Throat Mouth tube talk box from 1970s era.  Think, Peter Frampton, Joe Walsh, Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, Jeff Beck, Roger Troutman and others.
Back in the mid '70s to early '80s, the Electro-Harmonix family included the Golden Throat talk box.   The Golden Throat physically pumped audio (not an electronic signal) up a tube, into the player's mouth, to then be shaped and captured via an external microphone.
If you want that sound, this is still the only thing you can do it with.   Thanks for looking.
