Beautiful japanese Chokin decorative porcelain plate with 24kt Gold double ring edge and thick inner ring in a rare and difficult to find blue pattern. The Chokin image depicts two Japanese Geisha girls. The plate displays details on the back regarding the origin of the art of Chokin and reads:
Metal engravings from Japan and created by the ancient art of Chokin. Guilded with gold and silver, the engravings were originally created to decorate the armament of the Samurai warriors.
Decorative only. Measures 6” diameter. Still has 24KT sticker on front.
