RARE Vintage, But NEW, Stardust Casino Ashtray, Las Vegas; Gold Finish. Ceramic with metal overlay, I think. My research suggests this is a late 1960s ashtray, probably 1967. In my extensive research, I have only ever found one other ashtray like this.
The ashtray is, with essentially in mint condition. It clearly has never been used (new old stock). The gold finish really pops. I am posting pictures from several angles, so you can see that. I WOULD say the item is in mint, with no qualification,, except there is one tiny — almost imperceptible — imperfection on the lip. My guess is that this is an unavoidable defect, probably from the manufacturing process. Perhaps where the ashtray was held as the gold colored overlay was applied? That is why I say “essentially in mint.”
This would be a great addition to your man cave, and/or collection of gambling/casino/Vegas memorabilia. The ashtray is approximately 6*5*1.5 inches.
