    Description

    These extremely gorgeous antique silver candlesticks would look extra beautiful on your mantel, bedside table, holiday table or everyday table!
    Set of two 138-year old candlesticks with very clear silver hallmarks indicating they were crafted in 1882 in London by silversmith Rupert Favell. They are in excellent antique condition, but the bottoms do have some damage as expected due to age.
    There are also some dents around the base and wear on the corners. None of these issues detract from the glowing silver beauty and amazing hand-crafted details of this set. I am happy to send more pictures or details - shoot me a message for more info.
    Dimensions:
    5" high with a 3" square base. Candle opening is 1" across.
    Hallmarks:
    RF is the mark of Rupert Favell
    The Lion indicates .925 sterling.
    The shield indicates made in London.
    The G and the shape references the date of 1882. Even though the sticks themselves are stamped with 1883, this correlates with the "G" date.
    The woman's silhouette indicates these were crafted during the reign of Queen Victoria (1838-1890) and taxes were paid to the crown.
