    Description:
    For sale are a pair of vintage cinnabar covered urns acquired in Maryland at auction.
    The vases are red cinnabar on brass that have blue enamel on the inside as well as the bottom.
    Each vase is 7” tall when on it's wooden sand. The widest part is about 3.25” in diameter.
    The design is quite intricate and show blooming peonies.
    There is an old paper label taped to the bottom that says it is made in the Peoples Republic of China.
    I don't know the date, but I am estimating mid 70-80's when the US saw import of this type from China.

    The brass shows some oxidation.
