Pair antique Chinese cloisonne vases, yuhunchuping, or pear-shaped.  We will refer to them as a "near pair," since they were clearly made by the same hand, using the same construction techniques, but with slightly different floral designs; and one has an aqua background color while the other is a more turquoise blue.  They look to have had a gilt finish on the metal work, as you can see on the inside of the foot rim, as well as on traces on the underside of the rims.  They likely were polished to the copper-bronze color one can now see on the rim and foot rim.  Great antique 19th century quality construction, with dovetail joinery visible on the inside of the neck, as pictured in a close-up.  Pinpoint pitting upon close examination of the enamel, as expected of antique cloisonne.
Measurements: 12 3/8 inches high x 6 1/2 inches at the widest point.
Condition:  Very good condition, with minor flaws in the enamel.  No dents. Light wear to gilding on metal. Superb detail and color.
