    Description

This Japanese confectionary serving bowl is all wood with a lacquered finish.  It was purchased in the last century at Takeshimaya Department Store in Yokahoma and has only been taken out of the box to photograph. The bowl is beautiful with its orchid design.  It measurements are 10" in diameter, stands 2.5" in height from its base to the top of the bowl, and has a depth of 1.75 in the center.  The base has a diameter of 5.5", with a lip of .1875, and a height of 1.75".  It weighs 1 lbs, 4 ozs.  The box measures 11.125" x 11.125" x 3.25" and weighs 1 lbs, 12 oz with the bowl inside along its packing and information papers.  All pictures were taken in a camera tent except for the last four of which the first three were scanned at 200 dpi and the last one at 400 dpi.  There is a 2008 Hawaiian quarter in the last picture of the bowl that is not for sale but to illustrate the size of the bowl.  The product information on the side of the box translated says that it is a confectionery bowl designed by Aya Ranka with product number AE97-17. The next three pictures are scans of the included informational papers and the last is the translations of the Japanese papers pictures in the previous two pictures and will be included with the purchase of the bowl.  Will answer all questions promptly.  Will ship by USPS priority with insurance and tracking or the equivalent shipper and services upon the buyer's consent.
