  • Return policy details: Dometek will replace incorrectly supplied or defective items, or refund the cost of the item according to the following conditions: All items must be checked and tested upon receipt. If you receive an incorrect or non-functional item you must contact Dometek within 30 days of receipt or 35 days after shipment, whichever is sooner, to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorisation number (RMA). All returns must include a written explanation of the problem, the RMA number and a copy of Dometek’s invoice or packing list. Returns will not be accepted if they arrive more than 14 days from the date of the RMA being issued. Returns will not be accepted unless the items are in their original packaging. Returns will not be accepted if they are shipped by freight collect or C.O.D. methods. Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer. Refunds or replacements will not be issued if any security or warranty void labels have been removed from the item, or tampered with. A pro-rata charge of up to 100% will be made for items that are returned incomplete, abused or damaged by the customer. Any item returned due to a customer ordering incorrectly will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Any item returned without a RMA number will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

    We are proud of our professional packing / crating and have not had a damaged shipment in years.
    Depending on the weight and density of the goods we use cardboard boxes, with bubble wrap and/or closed cell foam for padding. Heavier shipments (over 20 pounds), like small transformers, electric motors and hydraulic valves are typically placed on wooden base plates inside a heavy duty cardboard box with wooden runners on the outside of the box.
    Heavier items (over 100 pounds) generally will get strapped onto a wooden pallet and shrink wrapped. Full wooden crates as well packing for international sea freight with moisture absorbent film and ISPM15 certified wood can be provided at a surcharge.

    We enjoy great shipping rates with DHL and Fedex
    Overnight shipments – not a problem. We offer Fedex Standard Overnight as one shipping option for most of our listings. Please contact us if you need a different shipping mode.
    We also ship on customer's account with DHL, FedEx and UPS.
    We will combine shipments whenever possible and issued many partial shipping refunds.
    If your order is received by noon time EST there is a 90% chance that it will ship the same day. Heavy weight shipments may require more time to build wooden shipping crates.

    Unless noted otherwise, our standard warranty extends for 30 days after customer receipt, but no longer than 35 days after shipment.
    Please note that no warranty is provided in case of trans-shipments.
