Description
The ideal buyer of these assorted brochures enjoys looking through the promotional brochures, handouts, and booklets that were sent to families back in the early 1960s to induce their boys to sign up with the particular military academy. Lots of photos of the cadets, the campus, and extracurricular activities to entice prospective students. Some have enclosures and supplements within the brochures. About four or five (from Culver) are from 1976, but most are from 1961-1962.Condition is used and stored for decades in a dusty attic. None of these promotional brochures, handouts, and booklets are in perfect condition, but many look as if they were rarely, if ever, read. The buyer should be chill enough to realize that these pieces of ephemera were never intended to last beyond their use, and that none of them are in the league of Picasso prints that would hold up to strict scrutiny. Condition is subjective.
