1. I've had this installed in my Chevy Cruze for a year and a half. The quality of the cables exceed my expectations. The wire is, in several locations, what I thought at the time would be locations that would prove to be points of failure. In several places I have it crammed between sharp plastic edges and seats. It has failed zero times - it works as well as the day I first installed it. I have been pleasantly satisfied with how well this product has worked for me. I occasionally inspect the connect with my car's battery and it has held up very well. Just take your time and do things right the first time and it will last.
2. Overall great product! The picture is true as well, as this wire is not only the biggest 4 gauge ive used, but the most flexible. Ground wire is SUPPOSED to be as short as possible! 3 feet is PLENTY. Speaker wire may not look big, but it has a very minimal amount of shielding, and is 14g. i DID have trouble fitting the 4 wire into the inline fuse as the wire is a bit oversized. However, with a little convincing it sits pretty snug. Make sure you have metric allen wrenches or you will not be able to tighten these properly. RCAs are cosmetically appealing, but are thick and block out unwanted noise fairly well. This is overall the best kit youre going to find before going to Kickers and Monster Cable.
3. This is a very solid amp kit. The cables are very high quality and the kit includes everything you will need to wire your amp or powered subwoofer. I have zero complaints with this kit, but I would recommend you make sure you really crimp or pound the connector on to the power cable. The power cable is a true 4 gauge cable and is very thick. Unless you have extremely strong hands, you probably will not be able to simply squeeze the connector on to the cable. I first crimped the connector on as firmly as I could and then placed it on my work bench and used a hammer to lightly hammer the connector until it was solidly attached to the cable. Other than the tough connector, I had absolutely no issues with this kit.
