Gorham sterling silver candelabra #638

My Grand used these candelabras for all her different dinner parties: sometimes at the lowest level for a romantic dinner for two with my Grandpop, to the highest level when hosting her annual Anniversary Banquet with twenty of her most favorite friends. The base is printed with the following info: " GORHAM STERLING Cement filled with rod of other metal 638."
With dim background lighting, these candle lights brought all diners into personal conversations that could be shared by all those sitting near-by; yet allowed diners at other parts of the table to engage in their own personal topics as well. The result can be described as charming and friendly. All due to the warm glow of these two candelabra.
A great gift for wedding or Silver Anniversary! Various measurements for different heights include:  1 candle only - 1 1/2" ,just base,  4 1/2" with small stem. 9 1/2 with both stems, and finally another 3" with three candle top candelabra.
