    Description

    The Austrian War Commemorative Medal (
    Kriegserinnerungsmedaille
    ) was established in 1933 by the Republic of Austria. The medal was awarded to Austria's military participants in World War I.
    The award was issued with swords for combatants.
    The medal measures 3.2 centimeters aross and weighs .9 ounces (26 grams).  It comes with six inches of the appropriate ribbon (25 mm wide).
    The swords device will be sent "loose," not attached to the ribbon.  It measures just under 3 centimerers wide.
