Description

An antique Japanese Yamatoku Imari large charger/ platter, hand-painted with center floral medallion, surrounding panels of flower baskets, blossoms and lattice. Featuring colors of iron red, coblat blue, green, yellow. The platter measures approximately 14.5" in diameter by 2" high. It weighs 4.9 pounds. There are imperfections inherent in the firing process. Most likely dates from the Meiji - Taisho period. Impressed chop mark and old dealers paper label from the high end John Roselli Antique shop NYC. A striking Imari!
