Beautiful 19th Century Chinese porcelain rouleau vase with original hardwood stand.

Appraised by a top expert in the field- professional Asian art expert Mr. Peter Combs. (Bidamount.com)
His expert opinion -and i quote...  “This is a dandy and very pretty vase with a very unusual color palette. The vase in my opinion dates to the mid 19th c or slightly earlier. Nice big size too! Famille verte on coral was typically only done on bowls during the 18th century during the Qianlong period mostly. The basket of flower pattern developed during the Kangxi period (1662-1722), and became increasingly popular during the Qianlong era (1736-1795). The decoration is particularly fine i must say.”
Information provided is accurate, based on it’s size, ground color, foot, thickness of the base, and decoration quality. Educated buyers/ collectors will recognize these characteristics. Checks all boxes for authenticity!
2 sides feature different decorated scenes of a “Basket of flowers”. The quality of the enamel work is without compare.
Drilled and made into a lamp
in the early part of the 20th century. You can see the interior was not thoroughly cleaned before it was made into a lamp, and has old remnants inside when was last used as a vase!
Size of vase is about 8” W x 18” H. (20.32cm W x 45.72cm H) Weight of vase just under 9 pounds.
The stand is carved, heavy hardwood-original to the vase and of the period. It has a chipped area to face of 1 foot.
