Antique Chinese Cloisonné Enamel Vases (2) Authentic Gilded Copper

Description

These beautiful Chinese vases are in true Chinese style. The wire in the design is very fine, with all the copper quite intact. The bottoms are classic enamel, to prevent the copper from warping during the repeated firings. This is a classic Chinese design motif of flowers and leaves, with one butterfly moving between the flowers.  The Ruyie border at the tops, and on the smaller vase mid band,  completes the Chinese determinant.  The lack of a mark indicates age, as do the rest of the elements.  If you have any questions, or would like more photos, please let me know.  A beautiful pair.  The taller vase is 10.5" tall, 3.25" at the base and the top, and 5.5" at the widest point.  It weighs 1.7 lb.  The smaller vase is 7.5" tall, 2.25" at the top and base, and 3.25" at it's widest point.  It weighs 6.9 ozs.
Both are perfectly proportioned.
