Description

Here is a fabulous heavy tin sign advertising Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer. The sign is 26" x 17" and has a great chalkboard in the center for menu or drink specials. Nostalgia for images of turn of the century themes were popular in the 1970s which this sign depicts. The gentlemen dressed like a member of a Barbershop Quartet decked out in stripes, a bow-tie, mustache and all holds a frothy glass of suds. See photos for the best description of the condition.
The worst wear is on the back which is lined in a stained and brown old cardboard. There is string for hanging in the back as well as four holes pierced in each corner. The chalkboard is used, the buyer can actually re-paint it with "Chalkboard Paint"! There are also various scratches throughout the piece, though mostly at the bottom. Color remains bold and vivid with most of the metallic gold border intact.
