General Italo Balbo, Italy's Air Minister and leader of the fleet of twenty-four Italian planes flying to the World's Fair in Chicago, chatting with his nephew, Dr. Nino Balbo (center), who was on hand to greet him when he arrived at Shediac, and an Italian Newspaperman who is making the flight with the air fleet. This is one stop on their 6,100 mile flight from Orbetello, Italy to Chicago. July 14 1933.
This reproduction which has been sent to professional photographic developers for maximum quality. It is on either glossy or luster photographic paper. Note in some instances small amounts of the image edge may be missing in the actual photo. Also, this photo was reproduced from originals with original warts and defects.
